Easy/Moderate 2 miles 30 ft. elevation gain (soft sand and rocky in places)

Approx. 1.5 hours

Meet @ fitness center 2:15pm.

Plan to carpool to trailhead near Coachella Valley Preserve

Fee hike: $25/pp

Willis Palm Oasis is one of many oasis's along the San Andreas Fault. During this hike we will learn about the San Andreas Fault, the length, which way the plates are moving, and the age of the fault.

We will also learn about the ancient ocean and look at fossils.

Hike Leader: Jason Bruecks

Jason is the current owner and operator of Distance 2B traveled hiking club. He has over 30 years' experience hiking in and around the Coachella Valley.
