Cycling with Carol Lynn

2/8 Box Canyon remote ride 25-35miles

Our entire ride will be on the uniquely beautiful Box Canyon Road through the Mecca Hills wilderness.   The canyons and badlands created by erosion and earthquake faults make for a dramatic backdrop for the road that gently climbs for nearly 15 miles with an average gradient of 1.8%.  Our ride will be 25-35 miles depending on where you choose to turn around as this is an out and back route.  We will meet at the corner of Box Canyon Rd. and Painted Canyon Rd. at 8:20AM ride at 8:30AM.  Please allow 45minute for the drive.   Road or E bike recommended, no fitness center bikes
